Mark Herther

Vice President, Transformation at Orveon Global

Mark Herther has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Transformation at Orveon Global since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The Riverside Company as the Director of Operations and Administration from July 2019 to August 2022.

Before that, Mark Herther held the position of Senior Director of Strategy at Hillenbrand from March 2018 to July 2019. In this role, they led corporate growth strategy projects and provided guidance to the CEO and leadership team on corporate development activity. Mark also spearheaded the development of Hillenbrand's Flow Control platform growth strategy, including identifying attractive markets and assessing potential targets.

Mark Herther gained experience in management and strategy consulting at L.E.K. Consulting. Mark started as a Senior Consultant in September 2012 and was later promoted to Engagement Manager in July 2015. During their time at L.E.K., they worked with clients across various industries, including building products, chemicals, oil & gas, industrial products, and retail.

In 2011, Mark Herther interned at Cummins, Inc, where they gained exposure to corporate strategy.

Earlier in their career, Mark Herther worked at Eli Lilly in different roles. Mark started as a Reliability Engineer in July 2004 and later transitioned to a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, based in Palo Alto, CA. As a sales representative, they consistently achieved sales targets and significantly improved territory ranking and sales performance.

Mark Herther has a comprehensive education history. Mark completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in the years 2000 to 2004. In 2008, they attended Stanford University for Continuing Studies. Mark then pursued higher education at Northwestern University, where they graduated with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
