Hussein Harb

Hussein Harb has over five years of professional experience in various engineering and management roles. In 2018, they began working as a Technical Sales Engineer at RF Telecom, where they were responsible for sales, installation, and maintenance of CCTV systems, networking devices, radio transceivers, analogue and IP PBX, and VOIP solutions. The following year, they were an Engineer Intern at OGERO, where they designed a fiber optic accesses network using AutoCAD and studied different transport techniques and equipment mainly based on optical fiber. In 2019, they were an Engineer Intern at Engineering Services and Consultancy, where they used AutoCAD to prepare shop drawings for fire alarm and audio systems and designed riser diagrams for low current, emergency lighting, telephone, CCTV and access control systems. In 2021, they became a Field Service Manager at Novelus and Velex, where their responsibilities included delivering site construction with predictable consistency while improving construction crew productivity, providing a transparent channel of communication for site status, compliance, mitigation of issues and risks across departments and companies, and supporting field crews as a source for material up scopes, crew login validation, site outage planning, and safety certification compliance. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Oryx Dental Software.

Hussein Harb is currently enrolled in a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering Management at the American University of Beirut. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Beirut Arab University between 2015 and 2020. Hussein also holds certifications from Formatech - Integrated Learning Centers (Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA)), Google (Google Analytics for Beginners and Introduction to Data Studio), and Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business (IC3 Digital Literacy Certification).
