Senior Partner, UK at Osborne Clarke

Andrew is the Senior Partner of Osborne Clarke and a member of the firm’s International Council.

He is a Partner in our Business Transactions Group, handling mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. He frequently works with multinational organisations, especially those headquartered in North America, and represents a number of US based private equity firms.

He joined Osborne Clarke as a Partner and head of corporate in 1996 and led the practice for seven years. He has particular expertise in representing clients in the Tech, Media and Comms sector, where he has worked for his entire legal career. He regularly visits clients in the US and has done so for the last fifteen years. As a result, he is known for helping clients navigate the legal and cultural differences between the US and Europe, working closely with members of Osborne Clarke International in multiple European jurisdictions.

He is a member of the American Bar Association and recently was a Vice Chair of the well-regarded ABA European M&A Deal Points Study. Also licensed to practise English law in California and New York, he helped to establish our Silicon Valley and New York offices.

He has been actively involved in the AIM market since its inception and has represented both domestic and foreign issuers and Nomads on AIM listings.

Finally, Andrew has extensive experience representing both buyers and sellers of companies in the Workforce Solutions space, ranging from traditional workforce solutions businesses to training companies and consultancies.
