Fabian has gained experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, advising German corporations and non-German investors in connection with (cross-border) acquisitions, take-over bids, joint ventures, mergers and reorganisations.

He also has experience with corporate house-keeping and commercial contracts especially related to the chemistry sector as well as to the energy and energy infrastructure sectors.

Further, he has dealt with corporate insolvency questions and financial restructurings as well as with capital markets law related questions and litigation.

Before his legal studies he worked as a qualified bank clerk. Prior to joining Osborne Clarke in 2015, Fabian worked at the University of Göttingen and for more than eight years at Allen & Overy LLP.

In its 2016 edition, German JUVE azur sees Fabian as an “experienced corporate specialist“. And according to the 2016/2017 edition of kanzleimonitor.de Fabian is a recommended corporate lawyer.

Fabian has published a number of legal academic publications, the latest being Die Probleme hinsichtlich der Berechnung des Wertverlustes nach einem Einziehungs– und Verwertungsverbot in der insolvenzrechtlichen Praxis – ‘Recht haben‘ oder ‘Recht bekommen‘? (in NZI 2016, p. 809 et seq., together with N. Doghonadze) and Die Eingliederung eines deutschen Börsenbetreibers in einen ausländischen Konzern (in BKR 2016, p. 499 et seq.).
