Janet Porras

Janet Porras is an experienced educator currently serving as a Literacy Coach and Research & Intensive Reading Teacher for the Osceola County School District since August 2020. Prior to this role, Janet worked as an Instructional Teacher at Orange County Public Schools and held a similar position at Osceola County School District focusing on kindergarten education. Janet's professional background also includes significant experience at The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities included coordinating sales and guest relations. Additionally, Janet has a long tenure as an English Teacher with the Puerto Rico Department of Education and has served as a Camp Director. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from Cambridge College, a Bachelor of Commerce in Elementary Education from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico-Metropolitan Campus, and another Master of Education in Kindergarten/Preschool Education from Universidad Central de Bayamón.
