Matthew Meehan

Matthew Meehan is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis across multiple industries. Currently, as a Data Scientist at Oscilar Inc since November 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Majesco, where Matthew co-led the integration of LLM-based chat experiences into insurance products using OpenAI's GPT-4. At Majesco, Matthew also developed advanced object detection models to assist with property and casualty insurance underwriting. As Head of Data Science at Veda, Matthew improved healthcare provider data accuracy and contributed to significant contract acquisitions with major healthcare payers. Matthew's background includes research at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center, where Matthew led data analysis initiatives and developed convolutional neural networks. Matthew holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a BS from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
