Jon Thomson

Jon Thomson has a diverse work experience in various roles related to commercial and supply chain management. Jon is currently working as the Director of Commercial and Supply Chain at OSI Maritime Systems since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager of Commercial at the same company from 2017 to 2020, where they handled commercial arrangement structuring, contract negotiation, and post-award management.

Before joining OSI Maritime Systems, Jon worked at Seaspan ULC as a Manager of Supply Chain from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of goods and services, as well as developing procurement strategies and monitoring supplier performance.

From 2014 to 2016, Jon worked at Seaspan ULC as a Subcontract Specialist, where they managed contract activities with contractors, suppliers, and businesses for shipbuilding construction projects. Earlier in their career, Jon worked as a Primary Care Paramedic at British Columbia Ambulance Service from 2006 to 2015 and as a Project Manager at Advanced Subsea Services Ltd. from 2009 to 2011.

Additionally, Jon has experience in subcontractor management and coordination roles at Golder Associates, where they provided guidance on program best practices, established key performance indicators, and assessed subcontractor performance.
