Jennifer Mayo has worked in the spa and wellness industry for over 13 years. Jennifer began their career in 2008 as a Spa Professional at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. Jennifer then moved to the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa as the Spa Director, where they were responsible for the 10,000 square ft. luxury spa with 10 treatment rooms, fitness facility, salon, tennis courts and kids club. In 2012, they became the Spa Director for the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort, where they were the Opening Director for a newly renovated resort and new spa facility. That same year, they joined the Florida Spa Association as an Advisory Council for Events, a network of spa professionals whose desire is to promote Florida as the finest destination for wellness and beauty experiences in the country. In 2013, they became the Director of Spa & Fitness at The Gasparilla Inn & Club, a Conde' Nast Awarded Spa. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Spa & Wellness at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, located at Horseshoe Bay Resort outside of Austin, TX. In 2018, they became the Director of Spa & Retail at Salamander Hotels & Resorts, located at the Henderson Beach Resort on the Emerald Coast in Destin, FL. In 2020, they joined the Southeast Spa Wellness Association as Vice President, and in 2022 they started their current role as Territory Manager at Osmosis Beauty.
Jennifer Mayo's education history includes obtaining an A.S. Degree in Health and Wellness from Southwest Florida College in 2007-2008, a Certified Personal Trainer from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America in 2015, a Certificate from Bonita School of Massage Therapy and Cosmetology in 2009-2010 for the Aesthetician Program, as well as Certificate Programs/AA Program from Daytona State College in 2001-2005 for General Studies, Massage Therapy and Nursing Assistant Program.
