Derek Apanovitch

Derek Apanovitch is the current Chief Operating Officer at Osmosis. Derek was previously the CEO and Board Member at TotalSDS from February 2020 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were the President and Chief Operating Officer at Ultimate Medical Academy from July 2008 to July 2019. Derek has also held various other positions at companies such as Kaplan, Sullivan & Cromwell, Thoronder LLC, and Health Benefits Direct Corporation.

Derek Apanovitch received their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in Health Industry Management and Accounting. Derek then went on to earn their JD from Duke University School of Law. Lastly, they completed their BA at the University of Pennsylvania.

Derek Apanovitch reports to Shiv Gaglani, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Caleb Furnas - Director of International Partnerships, Amin Azzam - Director of Open Learning Initiatives & Lead Faculty Advisor, and Mamoona Khokhar - Director of Clinical Curriculum.
