Christopher Golden began their career in 2002 as an Associate Network Engineer at Futurex, where they performed QA for 3DES and PKI cryptographic security devices for the Federal Reserve Bank, domestic banks and credit unions. Christopher also designed, tested, and documented embedded Windows and Linux deployments. In 2005, Golden joined Volt Technical Services as a Site Services/NOC Engineer, providing 24x7 site services on a Network Operations team in an enterprise data center environment. That same year, they also joined Unisoft Networks as a Production Lead, where they were responsible for building, OS installation, configuration and testing of several hundred workstations in very limited work windows. In 2006, Golden joined Pogo Linux as a Linux Systems Engineer, providing Tier 2-3 customer service including remote Professional Services for configuration and deployment of ZFS Enterprise SAN solutions from OSNEXUS and Nexenta. In 2014, they joined OSNEXUS Corporation as Technical Director and later as Director of Support Engineering, where they were responsible for providing overall engineering support technical guidance to the OSNEXUS support and engineering teams, working with technological partners to certify and implement their latest technologies with the OSNEXUS QuantaStor SDS platform, and actively growing the OSNEXUS support team.
Christopher Golden attended Sierra College from 2000 to 2001. In 2002, they obtained the A+ Certified Professional certification from CompTIA. In 2003, they obtained the Network+ Certified Professional certification from CompTIA.
