Nick Franco has had a diverse and impressive work experience. Nick began their career in 2014 as a Photography and Package Design Internship at Baum-Essex. In 2016, they took a Co Op position at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they were responsible for coordinating research with a team of 3 students and was heavily involved with web development and design. In the same year, they also took on a role as Facebook Surround 360 Research, where they prototyped improvements and assembled entire system consisting of 17 cameras, improved existing software and debugged image quality issues related to the custom ISP, and geometric calibration profiles of each camera on the system. In 2017, they took on a role as Web Designer at Passport Publications & Media. In 2018, they took on a role as Camera Prototype Engineer and Image Quality Engineer at Essential, where they were responsible for Qualcomm Chromatix initial Spectra ISP tuning, color measurement in lab using luminance colorimeters, spectroradiometers, etc., test scene creation to enable detailed and repeatable image quality measurements, and field data acquisition to test and qualify various camera systems and test bugs. Finally, in 2020, they took on a role as Head of Imaging at OSOM Products Inc., where they are creating a hardware and software ecosystem centered around keeping your privacy truly private.

Nick Franco attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a degree in Photographic Sciences with a Major in Photographic Sciences and Minor in Imaging Systems.
