Bob McDonald

Bob McDonald is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the telecommunications and wireless power sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Legal at Ossia Inc. since November 2016, Bob oversees legal and regulatory matters, achieving significant milestones such as FCC approvals and developing frameworks for international wireless power regulations. Prior roles include Legal and Regulatory Advisor at Ooredoo Myanmar, and Senior Attorney at Qtel, where Bob contributed to market liberalization and negotiated strategic agreements. Bob’s early career features advisory roles with Chemonics International/USAID in Jordan and positions at Sprint Communications and AOL, alongside a foundational role at the Federal Communications Commission. Bob holds a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
