Cory Calendine

Dr. Cory Calendine is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. He has special clinical interest and expertise in robotic/advanced tech for joint replacement, rapid recovery, outpatient surgery, and minimally invasive procedures including anterior hip replacement.

He received his MD from the University ofTennessee Health Science Center before completing orthopaedic residency atVanderbilt University. He went on to complete additional training in AdultReconstruction at the respected Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute underDrs. Charlie and Jerry Engh. Practicing in the greater Nashville, TN area asa founding partner of Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, Dr. Calendine performs hip and knee replacement in both the hospital and ASC settings. Heserves as the Chair of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery for WilliamsonMedical Center and is an equity partner at the Bone and Joint Institute ofTennessee Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Dr, Calendine dedicates significant time to education - lecturing nationally and internationally on the latest joint replacement techniques and advancements. He also frequently provides both onsite and remote surgical training. He serves on the editorial board for several professional publications including the Journal of Arthroplasty, Arthroplasty Today and the Journal of Orthopaedic Experience and Innovation.
