Dr. Joshua Dines specializes in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery. Dr. Dines has dedicated his career to understanding and treating sports injuries with a particular interest in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He is very active in both clinical and laboratory research with a particular interest in rotator cuff tendon healing, shoulder instability, shoulder replacement, and injuries to overhead athletes and has done significant research on the use of biologics (i.e. platelet-rich plasma/PRP/growth factors) to help patients avoid surgery and/or enhance their healing process. Dr. Dines has over 200 research publications, edited 6 textbooks used to teach other orthopaedic surgeons and has given talks both nationally and internationally. He is one of only 200 active members, worldwide, of the American Shoulder and Elbow society and has developed novel techniques and implants to improve the results of common surgical procedures.
