Bas Schuurs

Bas Schuurs has over 25 years of work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Bas has worked as an Interim Director of Business Control Clinics EMEA & APAC at Össur, where they managed financial operations for the clinics division. Prior to that, they served as an Interim Finance Director at Schuurs Interim & Advies, overseeing strategic projects and finance management. Bas also worked as an Interim Finance Director at VAF Instruments, specializing in sensor and measurement systems for the maritime industry. Bas has extensive experience as an Interim Finance Manager and Head of Entity at PACCOR Netherlands BV, a global plastic packaging company. Bas also served as the CFO of Canna Corporate BV, a fast-growing group in the fertilizers and growing media industry. Bas's expertise extends to their previous roles as the CFO of Helvoet Holding B.V. and Managing Director of Helvoet B.V., where they focused on custom-made assemblies in plastics and rubber. Bas began their career at ArcelorMittal, where they worked as a Finance Manager and handled group business control and international credit management. Overall, Bas Schuurs has demonstrated a strong track record in finance management and strategic project leadership.

Bas Schuurs attended HOFAM from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a QC - Certified Business Controller degree. In 2016 to 2017, they completed a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program. Additionally, Bas Schuurs studied Economics at Hogeschool Brabant, specializing in HEAO Business Administration and HEAO Controlling, earning a BBA and B Ec degree, respectively.
