David McGill

David McGill has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. David is currently working at Össur as the Vice President of Market Access & Business Alignment, a role they assumed in April 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Össur, including Manager of USA Clinics/Vice President of Reimbursement & Compliance, Vice President of Reimbursement & Compliance, and Vice President of Legal & Reimbursement.

In addition to their work at Össur, McGill has been actively involved in various organizations. David served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) since December 2019. David is also the Co-Founder of "amp'd: The Podcast for People With Limb Loss," a widely listened-to podcast that addresses issues relevant to the limb loss community. Furthermore, McGill is the Founder of "less IS more," a blog they started in September 2010.

McGill's involvement in the orthotic and prosthetic field extends beyond their work at Össur and AOPA. David has held positions on the Boards of Directors for the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association, the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics & Prosthetics, and the Amputee Coalition of America. Before entering the orthotic and prosthetic field, McGill worked as an Associate at Bartlett, McDonough, Bastone & Monaghan and Rivkin Radler & Kremer, LLP.

David McGill attended Williams College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Subsequently, they pursued their Juris Doctor degree in Law from Hofstra University School of Law, completing their studies from 1992 to 1995.
