Daniel Pflaster

Director of Research at Osteal Therapeutics

Daniel Pflaster has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Daniel currently holds the position of Director of Research at Osteal Therapeutics, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the VP of Clinical Affairs at the same company from 2018 to 2022.

Pflaster has experience in sales and consulting roles related to orthopedics. Daniel worked as a Depuy Synthes Spine Sales Consultant at Johnson & Johnson from 2011 to 2014, and as a Business Development Manager in the Spine and Orthopedics division at ATEX Technologies, Inc. from 2010 to 2011.

Earlier in their career, Pflaster held positions of Director of Surgeon Affairs and Corporate Accounts at Plus Orthopedics from 2003 to 2005, and Vice President of the Surgical Division at DJ Orthopedics from 1993 to 2002. In these roles, they oversaw various aspects of the divisions, including sales, marketing, and product development.

Throughout their career, Pflaster has demonstrated a strong expertise in the medical device industry, particularly in the field of orthopedics.

Daniel Pflaster has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Daniel also has a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Vermont. Additionally, they have studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
