Stuart Weinstein is a shareholder and director of Ostentus Therapeutics Inc.

Stuart brings to the board of directors expertise on commercialization of intellectual property (IP) in the private, public and non-profit sectors, academia with expertise in the health sector.

A member of the Bars of the States of California, District of Columbia and New York, Stuart worked as a foreign legal consultant in Shanghai, Peoples’ Republic of China, and Seoul, South Korea.

A qualified solicitor in England, Stuart is a law professor (currently at Aston University, Birmingham) with thirty years of practice expertise in various jurisdictions.

Stuart has advised small-to-medium sized enterprises, government agencies, non-profit enterprises and social entrepreneurs, multinational companies and universities on how to take steps to fully protect their intellectual property assets ranging from domain names, websites, registered patents, registered trademarks, databases, copyrighted material and trade secrets and exploit them appropriately for commercial and social benefit purposes.

Stuart was seconded to the National Health Service (NHS) England, Department of Health for a two-year period to assist them in the development of commercial strategy, information governance and data privacy policy and intellectual property asset management services.

Stuart earned a Bachelor of Honors in History of Ideas from Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law in the City of New York and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Stuart will provide guidance and advice on legal issues for Ostentus.
