Elina Backman

Elina Backman is a bestselling author and experienced media professional, currently working at Kustannusosakeyhtiö Otava since January 2019, where notable works include the crime novel "All the King’s Men," published in April 2020 and sold in 15 territories, alongside subsequent titles "Still Waters Run Deep" (2021) and "Before the Polar Night Falls" (2022). Prior to this, Elina held various positions at Bauer Media, including Member of The Board and Head of Creative, and has held creative roles at Sanoma Media Finland and Nelonen Media. Elina's career began in 2007 with positions in production assistance and communications consulting. Educational background includes a Master of Arts in Media Production and Management from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, along with studies in Educational Sciences and Social Psychology at the University of Helsinki, and a Bachelor of Media in Marketing, Advertising, and Communications from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
