Taru Jäykkä has a diverse work experience in various companies. Taru started their career as a Marketing Planner at Auria Oy in 2005 and later joined TeliaSonera as a Marketing Planner in 2007. In 2007, they also joined Suuri Suomalainen Kirjakerho Oy as a Marketing Planner and later became a Customer Program Manager. In 2011, they joined Otavamedia as a Direct Marketing Manager and then worked as a Marketing Manager from 2014 to 2015. Taru then served as a Business Manager at Otavamedia until 2018 and currently holds the position of Head of Sales Group in the Consumer Customers department. Taru is also responsible for the brand online stores of Otavamedia Oy.
Taru Jäykkä completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2003. In 2015, they pursued an Avance Executive MBA from the University of Jyväskylä. Additionally, they briefly attended Glasgow Caledonian University in 2000, but the degree they pursued is not mentioned.
