Malene Fransson

Malene Fransson has extensive work experience in various roles related to logistics, transportation, compliance, and management. Malene is currently serving as the Head of Global Freight at Oterra (Chr. Hansen Colors A/S) since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Compliance Officer/Manager at NKT Photonics from February to May 2021. In 2020, Malene was employed at Fairplay Shipping as the Airfreight Department Manager & Business Development Manager from September 2020 to January 2021.

Malene's longest tenure was at Nilfisk, where they held multiple positions from 2011 to 2020. Malene started as the Transportation Development Manager in August 2011 and progressively advanced to become the Head of Americas, Global Logistics in January 2019. During their time at Nilfisk, they were responsible for daily logistics and transportation operations, managing staff and departments, budget management, implementing best practices and compliance strategies, and overseeing global auditing and project management.

Before joining Nilfisk, Malene worked at Jobteam as a Branch Manager from March 2010 to July 2011. Malene began their career at DHL Global Forwarding as an Ocean Freight Import Manager, where they worked from 2006 to 2010.

Malene Fransson has a diverse education history. Malene obtained a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management from Global Training Academy in Texas, USA from 2019 to 2022. Malene also acquired a US Customs Broker License from the same academy, specializing in customs from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Malene completed their Told diplom uddanelse (Customs education) at SKAT from 2015 to 2018. Malene pursued an Akademi uddannelse (Academy education) in International Transport & Logistics at CBS International Business School from 2011 to 2015. Further, they completed the Den Grundlæggende Leder Uddannelse (Basic Leadership Education) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Køge Business Academy from 2006 to 2007. In 1994 to 1996, they attained a Degree in Freight Forwarding at Aarhus Business College. Lastly, they received their HH degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Eritsø Handelsskole from 1990 to 1992. Malene also holds additional certifications such as Security Awareness Certification obtained from CPH Airport in October 2020, as well as DOT, IATA, and IMDG certifications from DANGEROUS GOODS MANAGEMENT.
