Reyna Ramirez has been working in the medical field since 1999. Reyna began their career as a Medical Receptionist at Family Practice. In 2001, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Internal Medic, where they also translated English/Spanish for non-English speaking patients. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Medical Assistant/Office Manager at a Heart Clinic, where they maintained medical records and reconciled account information. In 2003, they became a Medical Assistant at Cardiovascular Associates, where they reported to the clinical coordinator or practice administrator, assisted physicians in exam rooms, and took telephone messages. In 2015, they became the PGX Lead Accessioner at Elite Surgical Affiliates, where they adhered to CLIA requirements and SOP's, including HIPAA and safety protocols. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Project Manager, Lab to Lab Contracts at Ceresx/Codex Diagnostics, where they served as an account manager and ensured that samples were received/sent and processed efficiently. Most recently, they have been the Office Manager at Othram Inc since 2018, where they are responsible for managing office services and ensuring office operations and procedures are organized.

Reyna Ramirez began their educational career in 1998, obtaining a Diploma in Medical Assistant from San Antonio College Medical and Dental Assistant. In 2000, they obtained a Registered Medical Assistant certification from American Medical Technologist. Reyna then attended North Central Baptist Hospital, obtaining a Certificate in How to be the Best Receptionist in 1999. In 2004, they obtained a Certificate in Cardiovascular Update from Baptist Health System, followed by a Certificate in Heart Failure Symposium from Methodist Healthcare in 2005. Lastly, in 2005 they obtained a Certificate in Peripheral Vascular Update from Baptist Health System.
