Kory Hallett

Director, Business Development Search & Evaluation at Otsuka America, Inc.

Kory Hallett has a diverse work experience in the fields of business development, program management, and scientific research. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Development Search & Evaluation at Otsuka America, Inc. Prior to this role, they were a Program Director at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for six years, where they also held the position of AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow for two years. Before joining NCI, Kory worked as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow at the FDA. Kory started their research career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin, specializing in tumor immunotherapy. Kory also gained experience as a Graduate Student at the University of Nevada Reno and completed a summer internship at the National Cancer Institute.

Kory Hallett obtained a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, completing the program from 2005 to 2009. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 1999 to 2005.
