Anton Palma, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Director of Biostatistics at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), focusing on Medical and Real World Data Analytics since May 2022. Prior to this role, Anton worked as a Principal Statistician at UC Irvine's Institute for Clinical & Translational Sciences from November 2019 to May 2022. Anton's experience includes serving as a Statistician at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, contributing to significant population-based HIV Impact Assessments and various research initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa and Haiti. Anton has held various positions including Predoctoral Research Training Fellow and Project Manager/Data Analyst, leading impactful studies on HIV care preferences and non-communicable diseases among HIV-positive populations. Earlier roles also include Research Coordinator at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Clinical Research Coordinator at the New York State Office of Mental Health. Anton holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, an MPH in Community Public Health from New York University, and a BS in Clinical Psychology from UC San Diego.
