Xin Xie

Xin "Shane" Xie, PhD, serves as the Senior Manager of Device Development at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Xin Xie was a Clinical and Human Factor Program Leader and Senior Engineer in Product Engineering at BD from June 2014 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading projects for the development of disposable drug delivery devices. Xin Xie also contributed to the academic field at Clemson University as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Bioengineering and as a Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering from 2008 to 2014. Xin Xie holds a PhD in Bioengineering and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, along with a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
