Zach Cook -

Zach Cook, M.A., has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant, Tutor at Utah Valley University, focusing on trend analysis and studying emotional and psychological issues faced by students. In 2013, they became a Research Assistant at Seattle Pacific University, conducting research on mentoring and sponsorship.

Moving into the field of HR and technology, Cook joined Avitus Group in 2014, working as an HRIS Application Support Analyst and Consultant at Movere. Zach provided support and directed HR initiatives at Movere, and also conducted data analysis for clients' affirmative action plans.

From 2015 to 2020, Cook worked at Overstock.com, starting as an HRIS Specialist and progressing to become a Sr. HRIS Analyst and Integration Specialist. During this time, they built and maintained integrations within Workday's suite and supported the functional components of the Workday HCM system. Zach also played a key role in implementing various modules and workflows, and developed reports used on the executive dashboard.

In 2017, Cook joined INTECROWD LLC as a Workday Integration Consultant and then as a Workday Integration Lead & BIRT Product Lead. Zach designed and created custom integrations for clients, resolved integration performance challenges, and provided project team collaboration to meet client needs.

In 2020, Cook joined Ancestry as a Sr. Workday Integrations Engineer and later became a People Technology Manager (Workday). Zach led a team of analysts and engineers, overseeing the technology stack used to support employee and candidate experience.

Most recently, in 2021, Cook joined Zoom as a Global Workday Solution Architect, responsible for providing architectural oversight for the functional and technical elements of Workday. Zach also served as a Technical Program Manager for People Technology, where they had global oversight of Workday security.

In 2023, Cook will start a new role as an Associate Director of Global Workday Solution Architecture at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), where they will continue to contribute their expertise in Workday to create intelligent and scalable solutions.

Throughout their career, Cook has consistently demonstrated their expertise in Workday, integration design, project management, and providing thought leadership to deliver effective solutions for their employers.

Zach Cook holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University, which they obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology from Utah Valley University in 2012. Additionally, Zach has completed various certifications related to Workday, including being a Certified Workday Integration Consultant, Workday Cloud Connect for Benefits Certified, Workday Financial Integrations Certified, and Workday Studio Certified. Zach'shigh school education was completed at Bingham High School in 2006. Zach also pursued Full Stack Development at Bottega Career Services, but the duration of their study is unknown.
