Patrick Gierman

Patrick Gierman has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Patrick is currently the VP Finance & CFO at OTT HydroMet, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer, Services at INNIO Group from November 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for driving service excellence, financial performance, and improvements, leading a team of 18 reports. Before joining INNIO Group, Patrick worked at GE Power for several years, where they held various executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Services and Chief Financial Officer, Engines. Patrick also served as the Global Financial Planning & Analysis Leader and Senior Business Controller at GE Distributed Power and as a Senior Project Controller at GE Gas Power. Prior to their time at GE Power, Patrick worked at GE Corporate as the Compliance Leader Finance in the Netherlands. Patrick began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager and Senior Auditor, respectively.

Patrick Gierman's education history starts in 1993 when they obtained a Master's degree in Business Economics and Auditing from the University of Amsterdam. Following this, from 1998 to 2005, they attended the same university and obtained a post-graduate RA degree, becoming a Certified Public Accountant with a focus on Auditing. In 2012, Gierman participated in the Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) at Crotonville Alumni, a Global Leadership Program, which they completed in 2014. In 2015, they joined Crotonville Alumni again for the Manager Development Course (MDC) in Executive Education, completing it in 2016. Finally, in 2019, Gierman attended the NBA | Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants, where they specialized in Fraud & Risk factors specifically for Auditors in Business.
