Peter Johnson, Ed.D, currently serves as a Teacher and Teacher Consultant at Ottawa Area ISD, focusing on Work-Based Learning to create opportunities for students. As the Director of Young Adult Services, Peter leads a department of over 80 staff members, supporting more than 225 students across multiple local school districts. Additionally, Peter is the owner of Fresh Coast Leather Works, a company inspired by local craftsmanship. With a strong educational background, including a Doctorate in Education from Trinity Theological Seminary, Peter has also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Aquinas College and served as Principal at Kent ISD, overseeing vocational programs for numerous high schools. Peter's extensive experience in education includes developing the Hotel Hospitality Work Readiness Program and teaching diverse student populations at Kentwood Public Schools.

Ottawa Area ISD, one of 56 ISDs in Michigan, is a non-profit education agency that works collaboratively with schools and communities to meet the educational needs of students of all ages in the Ottawa area.
