Chris Wagg

Chris Wagg is currently a student at Toronto Film School, focusing on graphic design and interactive media. As Director of Communications for The National Sixties Scoop Healing Foundation of Canada since January 2024, Chris brings extensive leadership experience from the Lifesaving Society Ontario, where past roles include Vice President of Public Education and Chair of the Ottawa Drowning Prevention Coalition. Chris has been involved with the Canadian Drowning Prevention Coalition since September 2016, contributing to strategies aimed at reducing drowning incidents in Canada. Additional roles have included Aquatics Supervisor with the City of Ottawa and photography-related positions at Algonquin College. Chris holds a degree in Social Media and Risk Management from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
