Gizella Ellepola Cdmp

Gizella Ellepola, CDMP, currently serves as the Program Manager for Benefits and Wellness at the City of Ottawa, a role held since February 2023. Prior experience includes positions such as Employee Wellbeing Coordinator at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board from January 2022 to February 2023, and Manager of Abilities Management and Return to Work at the Ottawa Police Service from April 2021 to January 2022. Gizella has a strong background in disability management and return to work strategies, demonstrated through roles at Canada Post Corporation and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, where responsibilities included managing return-to-work programs and adjudicating claims. Gizella’s career also encompasses significant contributions in child support enforcement and policy research within various ministries. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from York University and additional studies at St. Clair College.
