Kurtis Adamus has a diverse work experience in the field of lifeguarding and recreational management. Kurtis started their career with the City of Ottawa in 2016 as a Head Lifeguard/Instructor. In 2019, they moved on to become the General Manager at Kids Can Swim Canada, where they served until 2022. During this time, Kurtis also gained experience as an Aquatics Supervisor at H2O Lifeguard and Recreational Management from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, they returned to H2O Lifeguard and Recreational Management as the General Manager, where they worked until 2023.
Kurtis Adamus began their education journey in 2016 at Carleton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Music degree with a focus on music performance and songwriting. Kurtis completed this program in 2021. In 2023, Kurtis returned to Carleton University to further their education and pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their field of study at this stage was Business Administration, Management, and Change. Kurtis completed this program in 2024.
