Negar Fallahpour is an experienced arts professional currently serving as a Programmer in the Community Arts Program for the City of Ottawa since December 2022, where responsibilities include planning and organizing events and managing a diverse arts program. Previously, Fallahpour held roles such as Project Administrator and Project Coordinator at the Ottawa Arts Council, facilitating community conversations and implementing project plans. Fallahpour’s extensive background in education includes positions as a Music Teacher and a Graduate Student Researcher at Carleton University, where a Master of Arts in Music was earned. Additional experience includes an internship with the Ottawa Chamber Music Society and a solid foundation in music education from Islamic Azad University of Art and the School of Fine Arts and Music in Isfahan.
