Ryan Tu

Ryan Tu is an accomplished student and emerging leader in the health sciences field, currently serving as the National Assistant Director of Competitive Events and National Event Category Lead for Teamwork and Leadership Events at HOSA Canada since September 2022, where significant contributions include organizing a large healthcare conference and creating extensive study materials. In addition, Ryan holds multiple research roles at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, focusing on the photochemical synthesis of gold nanoparticles and developing novel bioadhesives, supported by prestigious scholarships. Other professional experiences include positions at the City of Ottawa and leadership roles in community organizations, showcasing strong customer service, supervisory skills, and dedication to education. Currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Ryan continues to build a diverse portfolio of skills and experiences in preparation for a promising career in healthcare.
