Michele Giroux

Michele Giroux is the Executive Officer of Corporate Services at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Michele has over 20 years of experience in public sector policy development, business process review, legislative analysis, communications, education and training.

Prior to their current role, Michele was a Partner at AIP Group, a management consulting firm specializing in public sector policy development and business process review, legislative analysis, communications, education and training. Michele was also the City Clerk and Director of By-law Services for the City of Gloucester, where they were responsible for governance and regulatory affairs, community relations and municipal standards, liason between city council and community, committee services, protective services and municipal elections.

Michele has a passion for public service and is committed to making a difference in the lives of students in the Ottawa-Carleton district.

Michele Giroux studied political science and Canadian studies at Carleton University, where they earned a B.A. Hons degree.
