Jonathan Kirk

Jonathan Kirk is an experienced educator with a focus on business and mathematics at the high school level. Currently serving as a High School Business Teacher at Ottawa Catholic School Board since August 2021, Kirk previously held leadership roles at Emirates National Schools as the Individuals and Societies Department Head and as an IB DP/MYP Business Teacher, where responsibilities included implementing the International Baccalaureate Programme. Earlier experience at Maple Leaf Educational Systems involved teaching business and math while also leading the Business Department, guiding a team in curriculum delivery, and supporting new hires. Jonathan's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Francis Xavier University.
