Zac VanOsdol has a diverse work experience. Zac started their career as an Intern at Fair Haven Ministries in 2010. Zac then worked as a Manager at Panera Bread from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined the Ottawa County Clerk's Office as a Deputy Clerk, responsible for vital records and elections. Zac worked there until 2015. From 2015 to 2020, Zac worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Ottawa County, providing administrative and technical support for HR policies and programs. In 2020, they became the Human Resources Manager at the City of Grand Haven, Michigan, before transitioning to their current role as the Assistant Human Resources Director at Ottawa County in 2022.
Zac VanOsdol has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Administration and History from Grand Valley State University. During their undergraduate years, Zac also participated in a study abroad program at Kingston University in 2008.
Zac later pursued further education and enrolled at Central Michigan University from 2016 to 2018. There, they earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, specializing in General Management.
More recently, in 2021, Zac attended the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Zac completed a certificate program in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace, with a focus on Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies. This certificate was obtained from the USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
