Brenda L.

Brenda L. is an accomplished individual currently serving as the Chief Returning Officer for the McMaster Students Union, where responsibilities include overseeing electoral activities for over 27,000 students and enhancing engagement in student governance. Brenda has held various leadership positions, such as VP of External for the McMaster Chinese Students' Association, Co-President, and VP of Finance. As a Research Assistant at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, research focused on open science practices and complementary medicine was conducted. Brenda has experience as an athlete in dragon boat racing and swimming, along with roles in customer service and youth mentorship. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at Western University after completing a Bachelor of Health Science at McMaster University, Brenda demonstrates a commitment to health and community involvement.
