Lauren Kreps is a dedicated researcher currently pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Ottawa, affiliated with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since September 2018. Notable contributions include developing a research program on bone marrow adipogenesis, publishing research on bone metastasis treatment effects, and leading collaborative studies on protein complexes in breast cancer. Previously, Lauren earned an MSc while examining ITGB1 and FAK signaling in prostate cancer and participated as a Student Analyst on the PHAC COVID-19 Therapeutics Technical Team.
