Myriam Hamtiaux is currently a Research Student at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since September 2021, focusing on preoperative risk prediction and COVID-19 clinical trials within Dr. Emmanuelle Duceppe’s team. In addition, Myriam has been an Academic Tutor for Paper Edu since July 2020 and previously served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Centre de recherche du CHUM from October 2020 to August 2021. Myriam also has academic experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at McGill University, where guidance was provided to students in toxicology and biology courses. Early career roles included serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at McGill University, focusing on endocrine-active chemicals, and as a Parliamentary Tour Guide at the Library of Parliament. Myriam holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from McGill University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
