Nidaa Awaja

Nidaa Awaja, PhD, is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in molecular biology and reproductive technologies. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since September 2022, Nidaa has previously held roles such as Research Laboratory Technician at the University of Ottawa and Adjunct Lecturer at multiple institutions, including al-Aqsa University and the University of Palestine. Nidaa's academic background includes a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa. Additionally, Nidaa has worked as a Clinical Embryologist at Hala Fertility Center and gained invaluable experience in genetic analysis as a Genetic Lab Technician.
