Personal Insurance Account Manager / CSR

In this role you will service an existing group of clients with coverage questions, changes and endorsements, billing, and more.

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be:
- Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
- Experienced in Personal insurance (minimum of 1 year required)
- Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list
- Great at helping customers over the phone and email in a timely manner
- Comfortable with computers and software - knowing Applied Epic is a big plus, but not required
As an Account Manager at Ottawa Kent, you’ll be expected to:
- Retain current clients
- Share technical expertise about insurance - products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals. You’ll be involved in both New and Renewal marketing.
- Complete day-to-day Personal Lines Workflows - written confirmation of binding policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements and audits.
- Grow accounts by seeing cross-selling opportunities
- Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance in both our agency management system and insurance carrier’s rating systems.

Where is the location and what are the work hours?
- Onboarding and initial training will be in Martin, Michigan, with the possibility afterwards to work out of another Ottawa Kent office location (Byron Center, Holland, Martin, Sparta, Jenison)
- Full time; 40 hours a week
