Paola Jani

Paola Jani is the Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the Ottawa Police Service. Previously, Paola worked in various roles in organizations such as the Hamilton Police Service, End FGM Canada Network, METRAC, BMO Financial Group, Immigrants Working Centre, First Unitarian Church of Hamilton, Parkinson Canada, YWCA Hamilton, and Girl Guides of Canada. Paola holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management from SOAS University of London, a Master of Arts in World Heritage Studies from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg, and a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, History & South Asian Studies from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College. Passionate about equity and inclusion, Paola has a strong background in program management and community engagement.
