Public Health Nurse at Ottawa Public Health

Julia Watson-Blasioli has a diverse work experience in the field of nursing and education. Julia started their career in 1985 at The Ottawa Hospital, where they served as a Registered Nurse (RN) and later became a Clinical Manager. In 1988, they also worked as a Nursing Professor at Algonquin College until 2005. In 1996, Julia joined the University of Ottawa as a Nursing Professor, a position they still hold. In 2011, they started working at Cégep Heritage College as a Nursing Professor, and in 2020, they joined Ottawa Public Health as a Public Health Nurse. Julia's extensive experience in both clinical and educational roles demonstrates their dedication to the nursing profession.

Julia Watson-Blasioli has a strong background in nursing. Julia began their education at Nepean High School, where they earned their high school diploma in 1973. In 1975, they further pursued their nursing education at Vanier College and obtained an RN diploma in 1979. Continuing their academic journey, Julia attended the University of Ottawa from 1985 to 1988 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Julia'sthirst for knowledge continued, and they went back to the University of Ottawa from 1998 to 2000 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Science. Throughout their education, Julia focused on the field of nursing, highlighting their dedication to their chosen profession.
