Gregory Sell

Gregory Sell has a diverse work experience in various research-related roles. Gregory is currently working as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Otter.ai since October 2020. Prior to joining Otter.ai, Gregory worked as a Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University from July 2013 to October 2020. Gregory also served as a Faculty Research Associate at the University of Maryland from December 2010 to June 2013. Before that, Gregory worked as a Research Consultant at SonicJam, Inc. from 2009 to 2010 and at Plain Sight Systems, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. Gregory began their career as a Consumer Support in Sponsorwise in 2004.

Gregory Sell has an extensive education history at Stanford University. Gregory began their undergraduate studies in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Gregory then pursued further education at Stanford, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Music, Science, and Technology from 2004 to 2005. Gregory went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Computer-Based Music Theory and Acoustics from 2005 to 2011.
