Yun Fu

Yun Fu is the CTO and co-founder of Otter.ai, a company that provides artificial intelligence-powered conversation transcription. Prior to Otter.ai, Yun was the head of infrastructure at Particle Media, Inc. from April 2015 to August 2016. Before that, they were the engineering director at Alohar Mobile, which was acquired by Alibaba in 2015. Yun Fu began their career as a software engineer at Yahoo in 2005, where they worked on various teams including the Answers team, the Bookmarks team, and the MyWeb team. In their most recent role at Yahoo, Yun was a principal software engineer on the User Understanding Team in KAP (Knowledge and Personalization). At Otter.ai, Yun is responsible for leading the engineering team and building the company's technology infrastructure.

Yun Fu received their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University, their M.S. in Computer Science from Duke University, their M.Eng. in Computer Science from Nankai University, and their B.S. in Computer Science from Nankai University.

Yun Fu works with Kurt Apen - Chief Marketing Officer, Chang Chen - Head of Growth & Marketing, and Dustin Crawford - Head of Sales. Yun Fu reports to Sam Liang, CEO & Co-Founder.
