Kris Dahl is an experienced legal professional specializing in energy and utility regulatory law, currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Otter Tail Power Company since July 2017. In this role, Kris manages FERC and state regulatory matters, advising on various aspects of utility operations, including transmission, generation, distribution, legislation, and rate design. Prior to this, Kris worked at McGuireWoods LLP for over a decade, focusing on federal and state regulatory issues for electric and gas utilities. Earlier experience includes positions at Wright & Talisman, where Kris handled energy litigation and regulatory compliance, and at the NRTW Foundation as a Staff Attorney. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University.
