Yasmeen Khafagy

Yasmeen Khafagy is a Hilliard Ohio native pursuing a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Biochemistry with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. At Otterbein, she has served as co-president of the newly formed Muslim Student Association as well as a Diversity Ambassador through the Office of Admission. She also serves as a Van Sant Fellow through the Center for Community Engagement where she has a partnership with CRIS Ohio (Community Refugee & Immigration Services). Yasmeen aims to make the spaces she enters inclusive and empowering no matter where she may be. After her time at Otterbein, she aims to pursue an MD/Ph.D. specializing in neurology. Yasmeen hopes to help move Otterbein forward and looks forward to serving on the Otterbein Board of Trustees.
