Jordan Fisher

Jordan Fisher is a highly experienced propulsion engineer currently serving as the Principal Propulsion Engineer at Otto Aviation since May 2025. Prior to this role, Jordan worked at Hermeus from March 2021 to May 2025, holding positions including Propulsion Systems Lead and Lead Propulsion Engineer for the Hot Section. Jordan's career also includes experience as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at Generation Orbit and Zucrow Laboratories, along with a brief tenure as a Visiting Researcher at NASA focused on non-intrusive velocity measurement methods. Additional roles include a Laser Diagnostics Intern at SPECTRAL ENERGIES, LLC, a Test Engineering Intern at SpaceX, and a Student Researcher at the Center for Flow Physics and Control. Jordan Fisher holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University.
