Angela Matthies

The incumbent chancellor is head of the central university administration of the OVGU. She is a permanent member of the Rectorate and takes part in meetings of the university committees. She is also the permanent representative of the Rector in legal and administrative matters and is responsible for the budget. She is the supervisor of the non-academic staff at the university. In addition, she is responsible, among other things, for financial and study matters as well as for construction and property management, environmental matters and the support of international relations as well as for IT in administrative processes. She is the OVGU Electoral Officer.
