Kate Henderson

Kate Henderson is an experienced communications and education professional with a background in graphic design. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Ottumwa Community School District since October 2021, Kate has held various roles within the district including Communications Specialist and Teacher Associate. In addition to this, Kate has been an Adjunct Instructor at Indian Hills Community College since November 2009, where responsibilities have included web development, social media management, and online instructional design. Previous positions include Marketing Manager at Copperfield Chimney Supply, eCommerce Operations Specialist at Overland Sheepskin Company, and Graphic Designer at Harper Brush Works, among others. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Northern Iowa, completed in 2004.
